The luscious 2022 Beaujolais l'Ancien Le Buissy, from up to 100-year-old vines, opens on the palate with condensed, juicy tones of pomegranate, cherries, sweet blossoms and spice, expanding to reveal a layered mid-palate with lifts of ripe acidity. A subtle undercurrent of cracked white pepper emerges, gaining intensity as it combines with the structural, fine-grained tannins on the back end, culminating in a precise, elemental finish.
