Made from 100% Tempranillo from vines over 30 years of age. Though the legal definition of Reserva in the region of Rioja requires 3 years of aging, with a minimum of just 1 year in barrel, this wine spends 18 months in American barriques, and achieves a complete integration of the flavors of grape and wood, plus the mellowness that only time can provide.
